The following table provides the cost of estimated manpower for the new schools. All costs are yearly except as noted otherwise. These costs are expected to increase 1.5 percent a year.

No Experienced Teachers Hired: Elementary Teachers = $1,000,000
High School Teachers = $1,200,000

30 percent Experienced Teachers Hired: Elementary Teachers = $1,337,500
High School Teachers = $1,900,000

50 percent Experienced Teachers Hired: Elementary Teachers = $1,632,000
High School Teachers = $2,100,000

Note: In no circumstances will 100 percent of the teachers hired be experienced.

Cost of Principals and Vice Principals: Principals = $180,000
Vice Principals = $330,000

Principals must be experienced. Assume the going market rate is $60,000. Vice Principals must also be experienced. Assume the going market rate is $55,000.

Secretaries, Janitors, Cafeteria Help, etc. $1,200,000
